The earth nourishes and sustains us. It changes with the seasons, suffers at our hands, but at the same time, it bestows beauty and abundance upon us. The earth binds us: we are responsible for it.

Fire is life and strength. It gives us light, warmth, and energy. The sun reminds us of the grandeur of Creation. The inner fire is a symbol of the divine presence.
