The director of Spiritual Mallorca, Pere Muñoz, points out that the Sanctuary of Lluc is not only a spiritual center but a meeting place, where civic, religious and cultural events have taken place.
The Sanctuary of LLuc represents a paradigmatic model in the design of a new perspective of cultural tourism in the Sierra.
"The Sanctuary of LLuc is a benchmark in the Balearic Islands. It is located in a spectacular place such as the Serra de Tramuntana, surrounded by an extraordinary natural and cultural heritage", the director of Spiritual Mallorca, Pere Muñoz, explains to Més d'U Mallorca in Onda Cero.
Muñoz also values that religious tourism helps deseasonalize. "Religious tourism helps us to position ourselves in other segments that are not strictly sun and beach and therefore, helps us attract tourists in months that are not summer", says the director of Spiritual Mallorca.
